Confucius says “Memory is the faculty of the brain by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved when needed. ”

Well, no, that’s Wikipedia.

You know, when you want to feel “special” for being human, don’t go the route of advanced tool use or culture or something. Just look at the concept of memory.

We’re not the only ones who memorize, but we are the only ones thinking about how to memorize and beat ourselves up over it, if I’ve understood this correctly.
