Korolev crater on Mars

Rocket science is hard. Very hard.

That’s what is so interesting about it, too. You have to be an explorer, patient and tenacious, getting things done.

I would not be able to guess just how many failed attempts it took for Sergei Korolev before his rockets started doing exactly what he wanted.

It feels quite appropriate for a rocket scientist to get his name on an impact site on Mars.
