I have no idea how often this model of a rocket has been photographed. It’s rather visible, standing, as it is, by the road along the Western coast of Andøya. I’ve come here for the first time in the aughts, launching rockets with my colleagues at the University of Tromsø and around the world.
No matter how often photographers have drawn their cameras here, it’s still a beautiful sight, full of nostalgia and meaning. Did you know that missiles don’t really have to have war heads on them? Science experiments work just as well.
