Second life of space tech equipment: a piece of history

This is a piece of space history. A rather smallish piece of space history, to be sure, but nonetheless just that. It’s an old horn antenna during what I believe will be her last days in operation.

In fact, it’s used as teaching equipment now. Turning two knobs, each for their respective rectangular coordinate, trying to track the rocket I cuddled with two weeks ago.

Hours, well no, minutes of fun! 🙂
