Nerdy Stuff: Laser guitar

You know what Radars are, right? I bet that most of you did not know that the word itself is, in fact, an acronym: Radio Wave Detection and Ranging.

Radio waves are electromagnetic radiation. This means, one can use the radar principle with other forms of electromagnetic radiation, like laser light.

Can you guess what Lidar stands for? It is such an absurdly nerdy thought that one may use the technique to build an instrument.
